Reflections sheds light on the various facets of the renovation of Paleis Het Loo. Impressive photographs and texts guide you through the renovation process: the design by KAAN Architecten, the building’s history, the meeting of old and new and the palace’s current role as an (underground) public museum. This renovation put Paleis Het Loo on a pedestal both literally and figuratively. A modern museum was created – underground. The new building leaves the façade and interior of the palace untouched and is inextricably linked to the historical building.
