This volume, edited by the Florentine gallery Simone Begani, attempts to reconstruct the still fragmentary production of works on paper by Giorgio Ferrero, an artist among the exponents of the Informal in Florence: an archive of daily notes, more intimate and instinctive than the ceramics and to the canvases, kept in folders entitled 'Stati d'animo' produced in about thirty years, from the 1940s to the 1970s. This production has resurfaced from the oblivion into which, after his death, the work of this shy and shady painter had fallen.
