Schwindeltagebuch (Vertigo Diary) is a facsimile documentation of Angela Stiegler's work ‘Motion Sickness Exercise’ (2022). “Conceived as an artistic research project, it is dedicated to the examination of vertigo and its relation to new technologies, specifically virtual reality (VR). The terms ‘cyber sickness’, ‘VR sickness’ or ‘simulator sickness’ are used to describe the disorientation and feeling of vertigo caused, much like ‘motion sickness’, by an incongruence between physical motion and visual information.
