Bai Ming is a multifaceted Chinese porcelain artist. His work mixes ancestral techniques, traditions, and practices with those of global contemporary art. He has in essence revitalised the art of Chinese porcelain at the two workshops he heads, freeing it from archaic forms through his pioneering technique in ceramics, painting, and lacquer.
