Both Gilles Clément and Thierry Fontaine are practiced globetrotters who are fascinated by the evolution of living things and mutant landscapes. Clément is a horticultural engineer, landscape architect, and gardener who teaches at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure du Paysage in Versailles.
