Circulations is the name of a collection of books dedicated to buildings constructed by NP2F architects. The editorial project was born out of astonishment: as you walk through the building sites of the sports cathedral, the architecture school or the arena, you sometimes get the feeling that the building is being transformed into a landscape that you can walk through. The spaces you walk through are systematically multiplied, punctuated by a series of hybrid places with no predefined purpose: bleachers, staircases, belvederes... You can walk around for several hours without ever going back, and the visit feels like a short hike. Circulations explores this particular feature of the agency’s projects, part background, part playground.
