The majority of the photographs presented in this book were created on assignment for newspapers such as ‘Le Monde’ and ‘The Wall Street Journal’. It features the work of six documentary photographers (Guillaume Binet, Laurence Geai, Zen Lefort, Chloé Sharrock, Michel Slomka, and Adrienne Surprenant) associated with MYOP, founded in 2005 in Paris, as a way to present these images in a more permanent manner and in hopes of moving past the initial shock and contributing to a longer narrative. All proceeds will be donated to a Ukrainian NGO that provides food, medical supplies, and clothing to vulnerable populations and to those displaced by the war.
