‘Framework’ is an annual publication on contemporary communication design practice and pedagogy produced by the Communications Design community at Parsons. This inaugural edition of the 2021–2022 term features works from the students from Communication Design's Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), Master of Professional Studies (MPS), and Associate of Applied Science (AAS) programs. Also included are the text of talks by visiting designers Talia Cotton, Jessica Wexler, Njoki Gitahi, and Archie Lee Coates IV. This book highlights the many ways students and faculty interact and support each other by translating, creating, and articulating ideas and forms.
