At once a personal narrative and an encyclopaedic collection of material, Dutch artist Mark Manders' Self-Portrait began as an installation of a 'building' in1986. Since then, Manders has exhibited fragments of the project, an array of created and found objects, furniture, sculpture, and drawings. All aspects of Self Portrait are presented here, collage-like on full spreads as well as large prints. Includes diary-like entries by Manders and informative descriptions of selected pieces.
